What does a video cost?
A narrated demo with Kokoro, or a silent one, costs nothing: Kokoro runs on your machine. An AI avatar video costs about $2 to film with Gemini Omni (about $1 each for the intro and the outro), plus the narration if ElevenLabs speaks it. You approve the script before anything is paid for.
Does it work with my product?
Any web product with an address. If it needs you signed in, you sign in once by hand and recordings start signed in from then on; a demo account is best, since the recording shows it. A site with a phone layout fills the vertical video. One without records at 1280×800 and is shown whole over a blurred copy.
What do I need?
Claude Code and the plugin. The first video takes a few minutes longer while the plugin downloads uv, its Python packages (ffmpeg among them), and Chromium if you don't have Chrome. Run Claude Code in your product's repo, so Claude can read its code.
Who films me, and whose voice is it?
Gemini Omni films a new shot of you from your photo, in the setting the script describes. HeyGen animates your photo as it is. Or film the clips anywhere and bring them in. The narration is spoken in the intro's voice, by ElevenLabs or your own voice API on Modal, so the whole video sounds like one person.
Can it run without me?
Yes. With --yes it asks nothing, so it runs from GitHub Actions in your product's repo, on the commits you name, and uploads the video when it's done.
Does YouTube know it's AI?
Each video comes with a metadata.json that sets YouTube's “altered or synthetic content” flag: on for an avatar or a cloned voice, off for Kokoro's voice or no voice.
